In compliance with current regulations, and in particular Article 13 of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data (hereinafter, “GDPR”), we inform you that the personal data you provide through this form will be processed by TOSKANI, S.L. (hereinafter, “TOSKANI GLOBAL”), with Spanish tax identification number B-58496324 and registered office at Passatge Ciutadans 4, 08005 Barcelona (Spain) in their capacity as data controller.
The purpose of the processing is to manage, in the broadest sense, your booking, registration and participation in the event for which you are confirming attendance via this form.
The personal data that may be processed include, among others, identifying information, personal characteristics, and professional details.
In addition, during the event, TOSKANI GLOBAL may capture photographs and video recordings in which attendees may appear and be identified or identifiable on an incidental basis. Such images may be published on TOSKANI GLOBAL’s website and social media channels to promote and document the event and the company’s activities.
The legal basis for processing your data is your consent (Art. 6.1.a GDPR), the performance and development of the data controller’s activities (Art. 6.1.b GDPR), and TOSKANI GLOBAL’s legitimate interest (Art. 6.1.f GDPR).
The data will be stored for the duration of the event and once concluded, for the legally established retention periods for the purposes of ensuring coverage for the corresponding legal liabilities. However, if you consent to receive commercial communications from TOSKANI GLOBAL and its subsidiary, TOSKANI USA CORP, your data will be retained for that purpose.
By accepting these terms and conditions, you consent to the transfer of your personal data to the following entities for the proper management of product sales and your reservation of a place at the event. Your data will be transferred to:
- TOSKANI USA CORPORATION, a U.S. company with registration number P23000079961, FEI/EIN 38-4292363, and registered office at 2400 E Commercial Blvd, Suite 204, Fort Lauderdale, Florida 33308, United States of America, for the purposes of carrying out any commercial activities following the conclusion of the event. TOSKANI GLOBAL has entered into the corresponding Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) with their subsidiary.
- JW Marriott Turnberry Miami (Marriott International, Inc.), with registered office at 7750 Wisconsin Avenue, Bethesda, Maryland 20814, United States of America, for the processing of your hotel reservation in connection with the event. This company is certified under the EU–U.S. Data Privacy Framework.
For the purposes of the preceding paragraph, your personal data will be subject to an international data transfer, with the safeguards referred to above in each case (namely, the Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) and certification under the EU–U.S. Data Privacy Framework).
Once your registration for the event has been confirmed and paid for, your identification and travel information (including, but not limited to, your first name, last name, passport number or identification document number, and any other information required) will be requested by TOSKANI USA CORP and shared with the JW Marriott Turnberry hotel for the purpose of arranging your accommodation. Such data will be processed exclusively for the proper organisation of the event and the management of your hotel reservation.
Your personal data will not be disclosed to any other third parties, except where required by law, such as in response to requests from judges, courts, tribunals, or parties involved in proceedings relating to potential claims or disputes.
If you provide personal data of third parties, specifically companions, please note that only the minimum necessary data will be collected for the sole purpose of contacting these individuals to deliver the event ticket. By providing this data, you confirm that you have previously obtained the informed consent of the individuals whose data you are providing.
You may exercise your rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection, and data portability by writing to rgpd@toskani.com, with the reference “GDPR Rights.” If you believe your rights have not been properly addressed, you may file a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (AEPD) or the relevant supervisory authority.
